Axyz
Founded in 1990, AXYZ began as a service company, installing and repairing several brands of CNC routers. It wasn’t until 1994 that AXYZ started manufacturing its own CNC routers after relocating to a new headquarters in Burlington, Canada. Production was slow at the beginning, but the sales and service force rapidly grew, establishing a global reach with additional offices in Quebec and the United Kingdom.
In 1999, AXYZ opened an office in Poland, enhancing its global reach. In 2001, AXYZ sold 1,000 machines and expanded its UK sales and support office. Three years later, AXYZ doubled its annual sales and opened offices in India and the United States. Further growth saw AXYZ acquire the UK-based Pacer Systems in 2006 and Calgary-based Camtech International in 2007. Soon after, AXYZ launched its ground-breaking A2MC Machine Controller, taking CNC machines to the next level.
By 2010, AXYZ had 11 offices around the world including Burlington, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, India and Poland. The same year, AXYZ sold its 4,000th Series machine. Seven years later, AXYZ celebrated 22 years of manufacturing with the sale of its 6,000th machine.
AXYZ continues to expand into new territories and products. New sales and support offices were launched in Telford – UK, Florida, New Jersey and Dallas. In 2018, AXYZ acquired WARDJet, a Tallmadge, Ohio firm that manufactures waterjet cutting machines and offers tailored waterjet solutions to a variety of industries.
AXYZ is a world leader in CNC machines, providing versatile, configurable and revolutionary high-performance routing, engraving, knife and waterjet cutting solutions. However, exponential growth over a 25-year period wasn’t achieved on a whim. Instead, it’s due to AXYZ’s firm belief in three key principles: Being Fast, Flexible and Direct.
